Our Community
At CoGro, we believe in supporting our local community. We work closely with other farmers and producers to promote local agriculture and sustainable farming practices. We offer educational tours and workshops for schools and community groups to teach people about the importance of farming and where their food comes from. We also donate a portion of our profits to local charities and organizations that support our community.
Our Farm
At CoGro, we're proud to have 6.5 acres market where we grow a variety of organic seasonal fruits and vegetables. We use sustainable farming practices to ensure that our crops are nutritious and free from harmful chemicals. Our farm is also home to a variety of chickens that are raised in spacious and clean environment with humane practices. This year we will again welcome Nigerian and Pygmy goats!
Our Market
Our farmer market starting August 2, 2024 at Java Sip Soul Food Plaza,ja 1555 S. State St., Chicago Heights, IL 60411 offers a wide variety of fresh and delicious products from our farm and our partners' businesses, including seasonal produce, honey, free-range chicken eggs, and handmade baked goods. We also offer a selection of local artisanal products, such as honey, jams, and cheeses. Our market is open on the first and third friday for a fish fry until November 2, 2024.
